My wife and I stayed on a farm near a little village called Oye which is right on the train line between Interlaken and Lake Geneva. It was a perfect place for a few days, renting an apartment from a nice family with a balcony that looked out at the Alps and waking up daily to the sound of cowbells as the farmer rounded them up for milking. We found it on Airbnb but sadly each time I have attempted to contact this family, it never works and I am thinking they no longer participate in hosting guests.
I am wondering if anyone would know of other such places in Switzerland that host guests on a working farm. It was great being close to nature and getting to know this family. They provided a wonderful breakfast daily that was large enough that some of it could be taken with us for lunch as we traveled the area.
