We are beginning to plan a 7 night trip to Switzerland for July 2022. We are a family of 4 (kids ages 13 & 15) and would like to stay 3-4 nights in Lauterbrunnen but it seems accommodations are already pretty limited. Any suggestions please? Thank you!
did you check hotel oberland? I know they have family rooms.

Another thought I have, if you don’t want to look in murren or wengen, is to check out Grindelwald (not to be confused with not gimmelwald). I haven’t been, but some people here like it. It’s a good back-up I think.
You can use a site like booking.com to figure out availability, then go to the hotel website to book directly with them.
Hotel Oberland seems to have fairly good availability in the family room (4 single beds) in July, with a price around $350 per night. If the family room is not available, they will,offer you a triple plus a single, which is more expensive and less desirable.
Thank you, everyone! I was able to book a room with a sofa bed at Hotel Silberhorn! Hotel Oberland looks great too but it does not look like they allow any cancellation without a penalty and I am still trying to finalize our itinerary so need a little flexibility..just in case =)

That place is right on the southern outskirts of Lauterbrunnen. I've stayed there many times.
