My family of 4 including 2 teens will be in zurich in may 2020. Was wondering if it is possible to visit europa park from zurich for a day trip, have heard there is bus service from zurich. Is it worth it ? Or will a day trip be too hectic ?

You can get there by train with changes at Basel and Freiburg (Breisgau). Cost is 40 EUR per person round trip, unless any of the teenagers are under 15, then they ride free. Takes 2 hours and 40 minutes including the shuttle bus from Ringsheim station. You have to buy these nonrefundable tickets well in advance (like 30 days) to get that price, otherwise it will be almost 3 times that amount day of travel. Meantime you can research options using coach transport.
