Will be arriving at noon in Zurich on Easter Sunday. Will restaurants be closed? Are there church services in afternoon or evening that day? Thanks

On Easter Sunday and Monday, all shops in Zurich will be closed, with the exception of the ones at the railway stations. Restaurants will be open more or less as normal, however many are closed on Sundays anyway. But you won't starve - there will still be a good choice!
If the weather is good enough you could do a trip to a mountain destination, such as Rigi or Pilatus in Central Switzerland, maybe combined with a visit of Lucerne.
Museums such as Kunsthaus (art, currently an exhibition with paintings of Van Gogh, Monet, Gauguin) or Landesmuseum (history) will be open, as well the great Zurich zoo.
Or do a cruise on the lake to the charming small town of Rapperswil.
