We have a 7am international flight from Geneva in September 2025 and want to book a hotel the night before in Geneva. I was happy to see many airport hotels with free airport shuttles but I'm worried service will not start early enough to get us there the standard 3 hours before (4am) an international flight. Does anyone know of a good hotel near Geneva Airport with 24 hour shuttle service to the airport? Thank you in advance.

The airport is closed between midnight and 4 am, so not much point in arriving any earlier. You will have to inquire at individual hotels, unless someone here as experience that early. I do know that if you stay at the Hotel Cornavin next to the main station in Geneva, there are public buses at 3:22 and 3:56 that take 24 minutes to the airport.
Assume you are on a BA flight to Heathrow.

In May 2024 we stayed at the Hilton Geneva Airport upon arrival & the Marriott Geneva Airport on departure. Both have shuttle services and are within a short 1 mile+ of the airport. Their websites state the shuttle service starts at 4 am. We utilized the shuttle on both, but our return flight didn't depart 'til 11 am. I'd suggest calling the hotel of your choice and simple ask the time the shuttle service starts and ask for approx. cab fare as a backup. I've found many cab services aren't interested in a short jont to the airport. Having the hotel arrange the cab service may counteract their reluctance.

A lot of the "airport" hotels that advertise themselves as near the Geneva airport are actually in France. So pay attention to that, as that makes things more complicated.
Better just stay in Geneva proper and take the train out to the airport first thing in the morning.
Where is your flight to? The standard I use for flights is 1 1/2 hours for an intra-Scengen flight, and 2 hours for all other cases. Being at the airport 3 hours before the flight you often can't even check in yet...

Thank you all for the valuable input. We have booked with a hotel very close to the airport based on a recommendation from another RS Travel Forum thread. That way if shuttle does not work out, we can easily walk. Sounds like we will not have to arrive as early as originally thought based on comments here. I feel much better knowing this information and having something close by booked. Thanks again. This forum is always so good.
