Driving in March

We have got 5 days to get from Lucerne to Paris in the month of March.

Last time around (2 years ago), we stayed in Wengen. We did the golden pass and the Jungfrau area. But then we drove from Berchtesgaden (in Germany) to Vienna through the inner roads of Austria stopping along at quiet villages.
We want to replicate that drive, but this time in Switzerland.

I am thinking of a route Alpnach, Obergoms, Visp, Martigny, Aosta, Chamonix, Dijon.
We are considering staying in Adelboden or Lenk im Simmental or Kandersteg (or any better place suggested by the knowledgable crowd here)

Can we get to these places by car during March? Will the road be snow covered? Will we require exceptional winter driving experience? Will it be beautiful? Our bar is set quiet high with the fantastic time we had in Wengen, Grindelwald and the surrounding areas.

I would hazard a guess that the weather may be changing from year to year.
Our experience: In mid March of 1990 we drove from Frankfurt, Geneva, Vevey Switzerland, through Bavaria and back to Frankfurt. There was not any snow on the road, my car did not have snow tires, and the weather was quite nice. Sunny, sometimes sweater weather. Perhaps someone could share a most recent experience or give you a better idea of the weather history for the areas that you are planning to visit.

One problem with your route is the section betwen Alpnach and Obergoms. The Brunig pass is usually open for most of the winter, but it may close temporarily during particularly heavy snow falls. However, a little further afield the Grimsel pass between the cantons of Bern and Valais is always closed between October and May. There's two other passes later on your route, but these have tunnel alternatives for the winter. But there's no alternative for the Grimsel pass, that route simply closes.

Otherwise, snow is usually cleared very quickly after it falls.
