We are planning to drive from Innsbruck to Lauterbrunnen on September 9 and drive back to Munich on September 13. Please give advice on the most scenic routes and also the attractions on the way. Thank you.

From Innsbruck to Lauterbrunnen the quickest route is also the most scenic route, via the Arlbergpass and Brünigpass . If you have time, go over the top of the pass instead of through the Arlbergtunnel.
For Lauterbrunnen to Munich, I would stop of at Lindau for lunch.
Go to http://www.viamichelin.com for routes and times.
But, if you pick up a hire car in Innsbruck and return it in Munich, you will pay an international one way surcharge, which can be high. I would check the cost of this before committing to this plan.
