Discounts in Switzerland

Hello...my wife and I are traveling by train exclusively in July. We have purchased point to point tickets and it proved to be dramatically less expensive than buying any type of train pass for our specific itinerary. My question is about discounts for seniors. We will be visiting Bern and Lucerne over a four day period after spending several days in Lauterbrunnen. Are there discount cards available for any of these locations that will work in museums, lake boats and/or lifts etc.?...Thanks in advance for your help....Raf

Bern has some free sites, but Rick doesn't mention any discount card for the art and Einstein museums, so I'd say just ask at each one if they offer a senior discount. Luzern Tourist Office does sell a Luzern Museum Card, 32 SF per person for 2 days of full coverage. Or, your Luzern hotel may give you a visitor's card that gets you 10-20% sightseeing discounts. (In addition to trains, many museums, lake boats, and city trams are covered by a Swiss Pass.)
