hi, I saw another post suggesting to make some dinner reservations in advance as they fill up...we are a family of 4 staying in Murren for 4 nights in August. Any recs to share, in area in general? Like others :) -- we prefer not the main tourist places and happy to try anything! Thank you.

Most restaurants are in hotels, so look at the menus for the Blumental, Edelweiss, Alpenruh, and Drei Berge to get a sense of the options. All were recommended by our B&B host. The Stager Stübli restaurant is popular with locals. I’d at least make my first night’s reservation in advance. One day ahead was fine in June. I’m not sure about August.
