Spending 10 days in Zurich early to mid April
& looking for day trips from there. Events calendar for this time of year in Switzerland?
Also Is Swiss travel pass bedt deal? Continuous or flex pass?

What are the circumstances of being in Zurich for 10 days? The STP could be a good deal if you were taking major trips every day.
The Half Fare Card may save you more money.
A day trip to Luzern and Mt Pilatus or Rigi or Stanserhorn.
A day trip to the Rhein Falls.
A day trip to Bern.
Those are a some that come to mind.

Thanks so much for suggestions - this is not our 1st trip to Zurich so we’ve already been to some of the places you mentioned - Bern & Rhein Falls. Will look into half fare. We were looking at visiting: Interlaken, Appenzwell, Einsiedeln, Montreux, & Lauterbrunnen if not too far & doable in a day. Also some places very close to Zurich by boat or train - Rapperswell & Rheinstein. Thoughts on any of these places would be most appreciated!
