My husband and I will have a few days in Interlaken in July and would like to do day trips. We’ll be able to make 2-3 trips depending on our schedule. What do you recommend for the “must see” locations? Also, we’ll need to be able to take the train. Thank you very much!
Brienz and Thun are pretty lakeside area towns.
If at all possible, try not to stay in Interlaken. It's a commercial transit center, not a charming Swiss village. Is it possible to stay in Murren, Wengen, or Lauterbrunnen?
Impossible to suggest without knowing what you want to do - hikes? museums? mountain viewpoints? lakes? villages? cities?
We’ve already booked our hotels for Interlaken, and they’re non-refundable. We chose the location for the ease of getting to various places. We’d like to do some small hikes and see beautiful mountain vistas. Thanks!
