We will be staying in Lausanne in June for 3 nights in June, 2026. What would be the best CGN cruise to take to enjoy Lake Geneva and the views of the Alps the best? We are debating between heading east towards Chillon castle of west towards Geneva. Any thoughts.?

Train to Montreux, walk the lake promenade to Chateau de Chillon, tour the castle (get the self guided English audio guide, it’s excellent) and then take the boat directly from the castle back to Lausanne with optional and recommended stops in Vevey and Cully. The boat is hop on/hop off, so if you have the time, exploring the extra stops is worthwhile.
