I have seen too many of these lately. Like”I land in Zurich, go straight to Zermatt, next day ride the Glacier Express to St. Moritz, next day take the Bernina Express to Tirano . . . And then they want help with which pass they need.
Or after a couple of days in the Berner Oberland in Wengen, they plan to “train” to Cinque Terre, , and then they are dismayed to learn how long and how many changes it takes to get there and say they are desperate for help.
How do people come up with these difficult itineraries? Where did they get the idea that Switzerland is like Disneyland where you just go on rides? Did they look at the cost of doing so many train and lift rides? And what happened to the idea of just staying in one place, with feet on the ground, and enjoying the view?
