Hey guys, I got a ton of help from this forum as I planned my itinerary for the Switzerland + Italy trip that is now final. There are 4 of us travelling - myself, wife, 2 kids (12yr, 9yr). I am trying to understand which train pass will make the most sense for us. Below is our itinerary:
July 5th morning - Land in Zurich and directly go to Lucerne
July 6th - July 7th - Stay in Lucerne - do a day trip to Titlis
July 8th - Travel to Wengen
July 9th, 10th, 11th - Stay in Wengen, including visiting Murren, Jungfrausch (few more lifts up the mountain, still planning these days)
July 12th - Travel from Wengen to Zermatt
July 13th - In Zermatt
July 14th - Travel to Ortisei, Italy (will take train from Zermatt to perhaps Milan in Italy, will rent a car from there)
July 15th, 16th, 17th - Will stay in Oritsei in Dolomites region, and travel to Venice on 17th (return car in Venice)
July 18th - July 19th - Venice
July 20th - Afternoon return flight from Venice to USA
