We are spending three night and days in Murren from 21-24 May. And for visiting Aletsch Glacier are and walk there we are reaching Fiesch on 28 May. We are staying there for two nights. Both these areas look very close on Map. If these places are similar in scenery should we go elsewhere than Fiesch? Our main aim is to experience rural side of switzerland, walking on the mountains and above all photographying landscapes.
Besides there places we are also covering Lavaux, Ascona, Bellinzona, Sion and Attinghausen.

Fiesch is in a valley, not on the mountainside, so in that sense it is quite different from Mürren. Also it is in the Valais canton, not the Berner Oberland, so the cows are a different breed, and the architecture of the chalets is different.
When we go to hike along the Aletschgletscher, which we have done several times, we like to stay up on the side of the mountain, in Bettmeralp. This is a car-free village ( like Mürren) reached by cablecar from Betten Talstation, which is several train stops before Fiesch ( coming from Brig).
While the village is somewhat similar to Mürren, the hiking is not. Here are the views you get from the trail along the glacier:

More that you cannot see the glacier from Bettmeralp ( nor from Fiesch). You have to ascend the ridge behind Bettmeralp, or one of the peaks such as Bettmerhorn or Eggishorn ( both accessible by cablecar).
They may look close on a map, but look again at the map. There is nothing but mountains and glaciers in between. By road or rail you have to take a long and circuitious route from one to the other. The quick route is hiking across the Aletsch Glacier.
