We are planning on going to Cinque Terre and then we wanted to head to Switzerland. We would like to go to Interlaken. Is there an easy way to get there? We would also then fly out of Switzerland to somewhere else. Are there airports near Interlaken?

The nearest airport to Interlaken is Zürich. 2h10 from Zürich airport to Interlaken by train. If you fly, you would also need to get a train from whichever of the Cinque Terre towns you are staying in to the airport (Florence?). Swiss flies from Florence to Zürich
The alternative is train all the way. This would take 7-8 hours,. You can look up train times on the Swiss railways site: https://www.sbb.ch/en

I've made that trip several times, and the schedule that Chris posted is about the easiest solution. Is there a reason you're staying in Interlaken, rather than the Lauterbrunnen Valley? The scenery in the valley is spectacular, and a big favourite with many here.
