We are meeting our daughter in Zurich on December 21 to travel over the (school) holidays. I'd planned for Christmas in Bern because I'd read somewhere that that was spectaular. Our plans are very maleable, as we aren't sure if we will travel mostly by train or car yet. We are going to take a surprise day trip to Barryland - the St. Bernard Museum (https://www.myswitzerland.com/en-us/experiences/barryland-the-saint-bernard-museum/) on one of the days.
We have been to Murren and Gimmelwald in the summmer time and know they will be amazing in winter. We are concerned now with where to be for special meals on the holidays, as we know that most things will be closed. Do you have suggestions or ideas about what you would do?
