Is the Chocolate Train worth the trip?

It's mostly used by tour groups. The entire journey can be done independently and much cheaper using regularly schedules local trains/buses. On the other hand the Chocolate train uses restored vintage first-class Pullman coaches right out of Agatha Christie novel, so it might be worth the splurge for a unique experience.
