Hello! We will be in Zurich in July for a day and a half. The one day we are on a day long tour. We would like to visit some chocolate stores in the city on the half day. We were originally scheduled for a tour with Viator, but they are not offering the tour on our half day now. Any suggestions on other options or names of chocolate stores that we could visit? Family of 4, with the 2 kids being 17 and 22. Thanks!

If you just want to buy, try looking for a branch of "Lindt & Sprüngli": http://www.chocolate.lindt.com/stores/
Their products are sold in many other shops.
Enjoy your "Schoggi" (Swiss-German for chocolate).

You could try Maestrani’s Chocolarium, it is about an hour from Zurich by public transport.
Or this one in Lucerne: Cheese and chocolate, again about an hour or so from Zurich by train.

Teuscher Chocolates are based in Zurich and have the best champagne truffles I've ever had. They have chocolate shops in Zurich at Storchengasse 9 and another at Bahnhofstrasse 46.
