Hi all,
I will be spending 2 days in Lucerne, 3 days in Murren and 1 in Zurich in May. I'm wanting to see a cheese farm/factory and a chocolate factory. Any suggestions? My husband and I will not have a car and we will hike some.

Should be able to see some cheese making/farming in Muerren.
Outside of Luzern, walking distance of Root D4 S-bahn station is Aeschbach Chocolatier

The Tourist Office doesn't seem to have the printable cheese brochure that I used to find there, but they have links by cheese type from http://www.myswitzerland.com/en-us/cheese-1.html. Here's one that I noticed for a "cheese hiking tour" near Luzern: https://www.myswitzerland.com/en-us/interests/food-and-wine/culinary-activities/culinary-cheese-hikes.html.
Rick's Switzerland book mentions a Winteregg cheese farm along a hiking route near Muerren (p. 181).

Not exactly a reply but a question: what are the best Swiss chocolates, and where may I do a chocolate tasting in Zurich? I don't care about seeing a factory--just tasting/purchasing.
