Hi, We will be in Zermatt, Zurich and possibly Murren in July and wondered are there any good chocolate or cheese factories in those areas? Thank you!

ebenezer, in Mürren there is a small family run cheese operation on the walking path to Grutschalp, at which you can buy some of the local cheese (when its open). I don't think its "tour-able" and certainly not a factory, but worth checking out.

Rick Steves Switzerland guidebook discusses areas to visit for cheese making. On our hike from Murren to Gimmelwald, we stopped at a home to purchase cheese and meats. In case your itinerary changes, there is Aeschbach Chocolatier, a 10 minute train ride outside of Lucern. Took our 6 year old granddaughter there. Made our own chocolate bar, lots of samples, beautiful restaurant and gift shop!

The Lindt-Sprüngli factory is near Zurich, overlooking the beautiful Zürichsee. I have not visited, but others who have reported enjoying it.
