Staying in Geneva for 3 days, and would love to see Mount Blanc. I see the bus is faster, but what's cheaper - the bus or train?
Also, for the best value, which is the best cable car in the Mount Blanc area?
thanks in advance! :)

The bus is probably cheaper too.
And I love the view of the whole Mt Blanc range from (cheaper) Brévent, but if you only do one cable car, I do think it has to be Aiguille du Midi. There aren't many places in the world that take you to such heights and such a breathtaking view of icy mountains.
Thanks! :)
So both of those cable cars have different experiences, is that correct?
Are the rides in the cable cars standing up or can one sit down? (Let’s say someone might have a fear of heights during the cable car ride…)
Any clue how much that cable car is?
You can compare the two lifts, and see prices and photos, on websites like these:

I think Aguille du Midi might be challenging for someone with height issues. It is also considerably more expensive.
In cablecars of this type you ride standing up.
Wait, 75€ for Aiguille du Midi? They're aligning with Swiss prices...
At that rate, if on a budget, then I do think the Brevent is a good call. Plus, you could hike a bit on the Grand Balcony at the top to prolong the experience. I don't suggest hiking down, though, it is very steep.
