I will be renting a car at the Geneva Airport Swiss side, National Car Rental. Is the Vignette already on the car? Will I just be automatically charged the 40 CHF? Is it vignette similar to an electronic toll charger?

Swiss rental cars always have vignettes. The 40 CHF is an annual fee, so the cost to the rental company is literally pennies a day.

The vignette is a sticker (or at least was). It is already on the car and included in the price of the rental.
