This question has left me wondering: If I fly into Zurich and am going to Mulhouse, France, can I buy a one-way train ticket at a machine at Zurich airport train station?
I'm guessing I have to buy a one-way to Basel and then in Basel buy a round-trip to Mulhouse and back to Basel. My Swiss pass doesn't start until the day I'm back in Basel.
After that, my pass will take me Basel to Lauterbrunnen, but is it Interlaken Ost where I catch the train to Lauterbrunnen?

I just put Zurich airport to Mulhouse in the SBB app and it gave me an option for 1 ticket. Have you experimented on the SBB app at all?
