Hello - On September 14th, I want to take the bus from Lugano to Menaggio, and then the ferry from Menaggio to Varenna. I'm having a hard time finding the bus schedule for that day (having problems with translating the website www.asfautolinee.it into English). I'd like to leave around 5 PM . Could someone look this up for me? Thanks.

I don't know when they change the schedules, but for "weekday summer", they show a departure from Lugano at 17:25, arriving Menaggio Piazza Roma at 18:24.....

Are you going to be staying in Lugano a few days prior to that trip? If so, ask the staff at your hotel to confirm that and then buy the ticket the day prior to travel. That way you'll be all ready to go when departure time comes around. You may have to validate the ticket.

6 - Runs only on Saturdays
scol- Runs only on school days
F - Runs only on non- school days including holidays .
Fer 5 - Runs every weekday except Saturday
Fer 6 -Runs every weekday including Saturdays
Fest - Runs only on Sundays and holidays
Estivo is summer (non school year)
Invernale is winter (school year)

Both tables give the schedule for the No. 12 bus between Lugano and Menaggio. According to this page, the summer bus schedule runs until Sept. 11.
