Bringing into Switzerland more than a month's supply of my medication

I will be travelling to Switzerland for longer than a month this summer possibly 6 weeks and I need to bring more than a month's supply of the medication that I take. I read only a month's supply is allowed. What do I need to do to bring in more than a month's supply so it will not be confiscated when entering the country. Thanks to all who respond.

I brought my medications in their original bottles which were 90 day supplies. No-one ever checked.

I had 5 weeks worth of medication, with a printed list from my pharmacy, and was never questioned.

This website explains what your options are:

It is not possible to import more than a month’s supply of medicinal
products into Switzerland. Exceptions or special authorisations are
not possible.

Are you staying in Switzerland for longer than a month and require
prescription-only medicinal products? Swissmedic recommends the
following:

 Discuss possible solutions directly with a Swiss pharmacy

 Have the medicinal products prescribed by a Swiss doctor in a health
centre.

I have travelled to Switzerland 4 times with more than a months supply of medication. I've had No problems. I read that 30 day limit thing too. They don't check. Similar to the covid yr's and needing proof of vaccination. No country checked.

We have never heard of this and my husband takes over a month’s supply every year. Very unlikely anyone would care even if they check.

Perhaps if you had a year’s worth o\it might be problematic as an attempt to undercut Swiss pricing, import restricted products for resale or some commercial purpose.

It is not possible to legally bring in more than a month's supply of prescribed meds and there is not exception process!

Of course, if you are an older person, looking well healed, there chances of you being checked are very low, so more than likely you'll get away with it. However, here in Switzerland we love to stick to the rules and being caught smuggling in prescribed drugs could be a very serious, as you would more than likely be deported and banned from reentry....

Bring a month's supply and a prescription for the remainder, then visit a pharmacy at the airport. If they can't fill it for you, visit the medical center and get a new Swiss prescription.
