the title looks positive then you drop the bad news. Maybe the title could be something like "Brienz Train Reopening Delayed"?

We’re traveling from Luzern to Wengen tomorrow so we will experience this interim solution. I have to have faith that the Swiss have the best interim solution. Besides, we’re on vacation- this is all part of the adventure.

I was due to be in Brienz THIS week. Had to cancel due to an unexpected medical event. So sad :-(

At the station in Interlaken they have buses lined up and waiting for those who need to transfer to Meiringen to continue the journey. I expect the same is true at the other end as well. Low entry buses to easy enough even with luggage.
