hello to fellow travellers, need some info regarding germany-swiss train, i learned that if we buy ticket from bahn.db from munich to interlaken, it cost 39 euros, which is much cheaper than ticket for zurich-interlaken bought from sbb, is it possible to use munich-interlaken ticket but we board the train at zurich? zurich will be one of the intermediate stops where passengers from munich will need to change train.
thank you in advance

Sounds fishy, but off hand I can't see why not. I assume you would have to be on the exact same trains listed on the ticket.
However, if you are limiting your self to an exact train itinerary, Look at buying a Swiss Super Saver ticket. I see them listed as low as 33.20 CHF, which is less than 39 EUR. You need to buy on-line within 30 days of travel date and travel on the exact itinerary listed on the ticket and they are completely nonrefundable. Have a credit card that will work with SBB on-line, which lately seems to be an American Express card.
thanks Sam, will use your suggestion as main priority, just re-read the article in www.seat61.com and it is indeed possible to travel in swiss using germany bought ticket
