Dumb question….I know if you buy a Swiss Half Fare card I can get the BO pass for half price. Is it the same deal if I buy the Swiss Travel Pass?

- You do not get 50% off the B.O. Pass, more like 35% off.
- No, it does not work that way with the Swiss Travel Pass. You get 0% off, nada, nothing.
The Swiss Travel Pass is only for non Swiss residents. But the B.O. Pass is available to everybody. Many Swiss residents have annual Half Fare Cards

Thank you Sam. I thought either way I would get a discount on the BO pass. I may need to re evaluate my choices.

Hi Brent, I believe you do get a discount on the BO Pass with the Swiss Travel Pass. See my post and info. here:
P.S. I thought you had figured out what pass to buy a month or two ago. 😊 It’s Switzerland. No need to stress about anything. 😊

Thanks Sam and Carrie. Yes, Carrie....I had it all figured out until I read a new post that raised more questions. Lol.
The good news is I'm not stressed about it, just wanting to make sure with new info that I'm making the best choice. Travel passes remind me of a 5th grade math problem. You have to cross a river with a chicken, a fox and a rabbit. How many trips will it take. Hahaha
