Could someone share their experience doing easy, fairley flat bike rides in the Interlaken area?
Flat bike rides in the Alps? "flat" is not what the Alps is famous for.
If you look at this map here: https://www.regionalpass-berneroberland.ch/assets/home/REG-Falzprospekt-Panoramakarte-18.pdf
You can see the best routes would be beside the two lakes either side of Interlaken, or up the valley to Lauterbrunnen. Thereafter it is very un-flat.
This map shows all the signposted cycle routes in the are. You can pan and zoom it as needed, and print a copy (to PDF file), and bring a copy with you: https://map.schweizmobil.ch/?lang=en&bgLayer=pk&season=summer&resolution=20&E=2631214&N=1169106&layers=Veloland
Hello. I am going to let you decide on how flat is flat. Here is a link to Rick Steves' bike route/trip in Mürren and Lauterbrunnen and he mentions it is fairly level and/or downhill. Not sure if that is close enough to Interlaken for you? I have not done this, but it seems like fun.

Also, try searching at the top of this website for "Switzerland bike". That will bring results from this forum and other discussion from this website.

We have biked from Lauterbrunnen to Stechelberg, and from Lauterbrunnen to Interlaken. Both fairly flat and enjoyable.
What I should have added was downhill with transportation up ie tram train cable car.Thank you for your help.Especially the map.
