As the Rail Europe site is of little help, what is the policy of taking bicycles - both in a box and assembled - on intercity and country-to-country trains from and to Switzerland? I've had absolutely no problem doing so in other European countries - roll it on, roll it off - but am wondering about taking it between Switzerland and Austria, Italy or Hungary. Are reservations necessary? Is a fee assessed?
