Best way to get from Lucerne to Lugano in May

Hello Switzerland Experts!

We need to travel from Lucerne to Lugano on Monday May 11th and hope to take the scenic route via the Gotthard Panorama Express boat to the Bernina train. Hoping for a beautiful journey. We don't have any tickets yet and hope for any of your advice/suggestions on options for this travel day and how and when to get tickets and reservations. Looking at several website now and a bit confused.

Then we will need to get from Lugano to Lezzeno Italy on the 13th, then from Lezzeno to Pontresina on the 16th and Pontresina to Zurich on the 19th to fly out the next day.

Look forward to any advice! Even the best website to use would be helpful....

To get from Lugano to Lezzeno, you need to take a train from Lugano to Como S.Giovani, then a bus to Lezzano.

To get from Lezzano to Pontresina, suggest ferry boat from Lezzeno to Varenna, then train to Tirano, then cross the piazza to the RhB station, then a regional train to Pontresina.

Pontresina to Zurich, take a connecting train to Samedan, then a regional train to Chur, then change to a train to Zurich.
