Hello, I am trying to find some more information about travel insurance for medical expenses as a US citizen. The general consensus seems to be that world nomads is terrible and true traveler is better. However true traveler is only available to individuals who reside in Europe. Can anyone recommend a reliable insurance that covers extreme sports related injuries? Thank you in advance.
The insurance industry considers paragliding an adventure sport and several companies such as Battle Face, Tin Leg and IMG offer policies that will cover paragliding injuries. Battle Face is known for low-cost plans covering adventure sports and includes medical evacuation— something you will definitely want in any policy you buy.
IMG has an option. Used them for normal TA for years and if you have an issue, they pay.
