Best Train Pass, Geneva>Bern>Interlaken

I know this is probably the 100th time this has been asked, but after reading through endless forums, no one is quite like mine, so here we go again!

Will be traveling from Geneva airport to Bern for 2 nights, then onto the Interlaken area (one of the mountain towns) for 5 nights, then back to Geneva for a 1 night stay near airport (early morning flight). It is me, my husband, my almost 80-year-old father and my 11-year-old daughter. We would love to use the wonderful trains for our trip. Hope to explore all of the Interlaken region from boat trips to mountain peaks, gondolas to scenic trains. Between Swiss Travel Pass, Half Fare and Oberland, I don't know what would be best for this journey! From what I have read, my daughter should be free if I apply for a family pass? Anyway, would love to not obviously pay out the nose, but would also love to not have to worry about the cost of anything transport we may need to take to make the most of our trip.

Many thanks!
Amber
