Best Swiss Rail Option for Driving to Lauterbrunne

I will be driving to Lauterbrunnen and parking in the car lot near the train station in late April. I will be staying in Murren for 3 nights and would like the most flexibility in gondola / train travel back and forth to the valley and back to Murren. We will also likely try Schilthorn (I realize this and Jungfrau are extra) and possibly Jungfrau. What is the best ticket or package to buy to save money and provide the flexibility of multiple trips from Murren to Latuerbrunnen and possibly Murren to Grindelwald?

Thanks,

Ron

From the car park in Lauterbrunnen, you can exit through the train station, cross the street, and take the gondola to Grutschalp. At the top, you hop the little train that travels along the cliffside to Muerren. Some hotels pick up arriving guests there, otherwise you walk.

Alternatively, you can take the Post Bus from the stop near the train station to Stechelberg, and take the two-part lift to Muerren through Gimmelwald.

The best pass, IMO, is the Berner Oberland Regional Pass. Covers (at extra charge) the Schilthorn and Jungfrau. The rest of the lifts and trains are included.

Have fun! We love it there!
