We are spending a week in Switzerland (Bern and Zurich) and want to traverse a suspension bridge (or something similar) while near high up in the Alps. Do you know of anything good and easy for a family of 3 to get to? I suppose we would be willing to travel two hours out from the city. We want to be in the Alps with a classic big view.
Thanks!
There is one on the main road near Reutte, Austria near King Ludwigs castle...looks to be 4 hrs from Bern but easy to get to.
www.highline179.com, not sure if this is what you are looking for.
Hi! Thank you so much! We are looking for one a little closer to either Bern or Zurich I think. But I will definitely check that one out. Thank you!
Here is a good list of Swiss suspension bridges, with photos.

Noneofnthem is very close to either Bern or Zurich, as the bridges tend to span mountain gorges, and the cities are not in the mountains. The one listed in Berner Oberland near Lake Thun might be closest to Bern, but looks fairly tame compared to the others.
Don't keep us in suspense. Tell us which one you choose!
Haha! Thank you all so much for your help! We still have not decided, but I think it is between the Raiffeisen Skywalk and the Titlis Cliffwalk. It is a tough choice! They all look amazing!
