I have purchased my half fare cards and am now looking to buy my BO Passes online. So far, I have found I can buy it at Swiss-pass.ch or BLS.ch. Both are about the same price. Is it safer to purchase from one or the other? Is there another option I am missing that I should use instead?
I would have thought that this was the obvious spot.

I do see the BLS logo on this site. Since it is a commissionable product, many travel agents handle it.
BLS is a railway company that runs a lot of local railway lines in Canton Bern, and also operates the Lötschberg railway tunnels. If you pay attention you will see that the Interlaken station displays a BLS logo, not a SBB one. BLS also operates the lake steamers on Lake Thun and Brienz.
If you click on the link to buy the pass on the https://www.berneseoberlandpass.ch/ site you end up on the BLS site. That is because they are the company responsible for marketing it.
Swiss-pass.ch redirects to Swiss Travel Centre, which is, afaik a UK based travel agent specialised in selling all the different passes. That is a reliable place to buy them as well.
