Trying to decide between these two tours and best month in which to travel. I read that the weather in April in Switzerland is “iffy” at best. This would be our 5th RS tour and am also wondering how strenuous Best of Switzerland would be using Village Italy as a comparison. we just finished The Village Italy tour and it was not that strenuous.

Well, neither of those tours run in April, and the Switzerland activity scale is higher than the Village Italy tour, if that helps.
I've signed up for the Switzerland tour next June after asking here and hearing that May might mean some areas/trails still have snow on the ground.
