I would like to preface this to request no lectures on car vs train - I have already determined that a car would not only be preferable but needed for our situation.
Car rentals often seem to be about choosing the least bad, but which one at the Zurich airport is the most trustworthy in terms of not being stuck with surprise fees, charges at the end?
I've read some real horror stories even after people have photographed, documented damage prior to starting their journey. At one point, I thought Alamo was the worst, but it's now not clear to me if they are all the same!?!
Any recent (past year or so) experiences with the ones at the Zurich airport?
