Bernini express to Diavolezza

Thanks for patience in advance; more questions about BE. Planning Chur to Tirano, with overnight stay in Bernina Diavolezza. Want to do BE (pano cars) Chur to Diavolezza, then BE Diavolezza to Tirano next day. Seems like I can get afternoon BE out of Chur to Diavolezza, 1:28-3:49 pm, then afternoon BE from Dia to Tirano next day, 4:39-6:39. Make sense? Is Diavolezza stop worth it? Could take regular trains, but want BE for at least one leg. Advice? Thanks.

Don't be to set on taking the BE from Chur to Diavolezza. The only reason some BE trains are extended to Chur is for convenience. The real BE is the one that runs from st. Moritz to Tirano.
So I would leace Chur on an earlier train. The IR services (at x:58) to st. Mortiz have a nice panoramic lounge at the loco end, where you even can open the windows.

Thanks for the feedback. The plan is to go from Munich to Chur, then board the BE. I considered going from Munich to St Moritz, but I think you have to go through Chur anyway. We have four nights to go from Munich to Milan. Two of those nights we want to stay along Lake Como, probably Varenna. So that leaves us two nights to get from Munich to Varenna. Friends have told us that Garmisch and then the BE from Chur are two musts. But coming up with an itinerary is difficult.
