The first Bernina Train out of Chur that I need is booked. I can see seats that are bookable on 3 others leaving that day, but I am wanting to know are they also panoramic cars? They are same price as first train leaving. The date is Sept. 18, 2017. If anyone knows I would really appreciate your help. Thank you so much!

Yes, the other 3 are on the scenic train: 8:58. 9:01 and 12:58. It does seem 2nd class is available on the first train at 8:32.
It is a wonderful trip. Enjoy!

Mary, To answer your original question, there is one train per hour on that and every other rail route in Switzerland.
The ones branded as "Bernina Express" are the extra tourist trains with the panoramic windowed coaches. These are the reservable ones. The normal hourly trains you do not need to reserve, and you need to change trains en route.
