Can someone tell me how to buy seat reservations (and tickets) for the Bernina Express bus from Tirano to Lugano? My intention is to buy half-fare cards just before our July trip begins in Basel Switzerland. Then buy regional train tickets when we leave Luzern headed to Tirano with an overnight in Pontresina. We want to then travel to Lugano where we have our next hotel reservations. Thanks.

Rhaetische Bahn operates the bus and sells the seat reservations. Since it connects from the Bernina Express train with a lot of people taking the "Glacier to Palms" excursion, seat reservations can be in short supply.

Put in "Tirano, Stazione" to "Lugano, Stazione Nord" and your travel date and see what shows up.
