Hello! My husband and I would like to take the Bernina Express as part of our travel from Murren to Lake Como. What is the best way to get from Murren to Chur (where the BE starts)? Should we try to utilize the glacier express to Chur or is that too complicated? TIA!

Laura, If you use the SBB website ( https://www.sbb.ch/en/ ) this will always find the quickest route (shortest time). You can look up Mürren (note spelling) to Chur, quickest route via Bern and Zürich (along the north side of. the Alps).
If you want to force another route,add a "via" option to your search. If you add via Brig and Andermatt, that will force the Glacier Express route and it will take a lot longer.

Besides the fastest route via Bern and Zürich and the most scenic but slowest route via Glacier Express route, there is a "middle route" via Interlaken, Luzern and Thalwil (near Zürich) or Zürich that can be a good time/scenery compromise. It's one hour longer than the fast route.
