Bernese Oberland Gorges

I'll have 4 nights 3 full days in Wengen in early July, and I'm looking for input on the various gorges in the area - Grindelwald, Rosenlaui, Aare, and Trummelbach Falls (I know, not a gorge, but same vibe). While I'd love to visit them all, time is far too short and tradeoffs have to be made. Three days lends itself naturally to a Grindelwald/First day, Jungfraujoch/Mannlichen day, and Murren/Schilthorn day, so I'm not sure where these may fit in.

Trummelbach is a easy trip from Wengen and will almost certainly be visited. Of the others, it looks like Aare is the most impressive, followed by Rosenlaui, then Grindelwald. Would people generally agree with that, or am I deceived by public pictures?

Travel time by train to Aare and back makes it a solid half-day ( or more, if including Reichenbach, etc), so requiring either a tighter day to get a mountain excursion in, or skipping a mountain day entirely. It might be a great rainy day option. Grindelwald gorge, on the other hand, is trivially easy to work in on a day trip to Grindelwald/First. Rosenlaui I'm not positive about - it seems not too bad to get to via postbus on a Grindelwald day but I haven't yet tried to fully map it out.

I know everyone has different preferences, but I'm looking for any perspectives like "Aare can't be missed" or "Aare is nice, but redundant with Trummelbach on a short trip" or "Grindelwald isn't worth it even if its easy". If it helps, I've been to and loved the gorge trail at Watkins Glen State Park, so that would be a solid comparison point if you've been both there and any of these.

Thanks!

I really enjoyed Trummelbach Falls. Haven’t been to the others. The walk from the Lauterbrunnen train station to Trummelbach Falls is a nice one. There is also a bus that goes to and from.

Mannlichen is a favorite of mine. Jungfraujoch not so much.

On your Murren/Schilthorn day, the short walk from murren down to gimmelwald has some great views.

Since you’ll be in wengen, there’s lot of nice walks there too:

I've only been to Aare and am glad I went, but skip it if you don't like heights! The "path" hangs out over the gorge. It was pretty crowded in August last year.
