Berner Oberland pass for Bernina Express

We are a family of 5 spending 5 days in Lucerne in a week’s time. We intend to travel to Engleberg and Mt. Titlis, do the “golden round Lucern-Pilatus” trip, travel to Bern and travel to Chur to pick up the Bernina Express as we depart Switzerland for Milan, Italy. I believe our 3 young adults (age 20-24) will get youth STP passes. We believe we adults will get the Berner Oberland pass. We intend to purchase half fare cards first for all of us. WHAT SHALL WE EXPECT TO PAY FOR BERNINA EXPRESS? I see nothing confirming that the BO pass provides any discount?

Are there flaws in our plan?

Thanks in advance!

As you are not planning on visiting the Berner Oberland you should not get the Berner Oberland pass.

For your time around Luzern the "Tell Pass" may be interesting.

The flaw is, none of the places you propose to visit, including Bern, is in the Berner Oberland. Therefore the BO pass will cover nothing.

Once I figured out that the Tell Pass map is oriented with SOUTH at its top, it does seem way more appropriate. THANK YOU ALL! Anybody who disagrees, I would absolutely welcome suggestions.

nope - don't disagree. But do price it out for all things are going to do, and you'll have half fare cards already. You may not need the extra passes.
