Hello, where is the best place to purchase the Berner Oberland Pass? We are flying into Zurich and staying in Wengen Switzerland, should I buy them there at the train station at the Zurich airport or online before I leave United States?
And... after Wengen we will be traveling to Milan Italy to stay 3 days, when is the best time to purchase train tickets from Wengen to Milan? Oniline at home or in Wengen Switzerland?

If you arrive at Wengen on the June 8 and leave for Milan on the 15th, you can get a Half Fare Card for 120 CHF, and an 8-Day B.O. Pass for 250 CHF (with the Half Fare Card). You can buy the B.O. Pass on-line if you like, and the Half Fare Card when you arrive at Zurich airport. You do not need the Half Fare Card to purchase the pass with the discount, nut you have to have the HFC when you use the pass.
To take full advantage of the B.O. Pass, it will cover you all the way to Domodossola, Italy, but you must travel from Spiez to Brig on the Loetschberger regional train. The pass is not valid on the express trains that use the Loetschberg Base Tunnel. This way takes about an hour longer, but is much more scenic. At Domodossola you can travel on Italian regional trains to Milan. None of that has to be booked in advance.
