So my Swiss travel is 3 weeks away, and trying to figure out purchasing 6 day Berner Oberland pass.

I try the BLS mobile app - but unfortunately it won't allow me to purchase the B-O pass via the mobile app.
If I purchase the Berner Oberland pass via the aforementioned website - how do I populate it on my BLS mobile app?

I don’t get the BO Pass, but it looks like this website answers your question. Scroll down to “How does the BO Pass work”
• You will receive a PDF file. This file has a QR code that train staff can scan from your smartphone.
• You can store it on your phone like any other downloaded file. There’s no need to add the pass to a wallet app or account.
• You could print one or more backup copies of the pass on A4 or letter-sized paper. Bring them with you while traveling, in case scanning from your phone doesn’t work well.
• The pass is ready to use if it includes all information like the start date, passenger name, and birth date. Your name may be truncated if it’s too long to fit on the pass, but that’s no problem.
