Hi all,
My partner and I will be visiting Switzerland, but I'm not quite sure which transportation pass would best suit us for our trip. I'm also unsure if I am adding too many activities in a short amount of time. We are planning on being there late June, early July for about 15 days, give or take a couple days.
We have mapped out 2 itinerary options. Which one would work better and which pass should we get?
Option 1:
fly into Zurich (2 day stay)→train to Interlaken with day trips to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Wengen, Murren, Zermatt, Bern, and/or Lausanne (9 day stay)→Zurich with day trips to Lucerne or Rhine Falls or Konstanz (3 day stay), fly out of Zurich
Option 2:
fly into Zurich with day trips to Lucerne or Rhine Falls or Konstanz (4 days)→Interlaken with day trips to Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen, Wengen, Murren, Zermatt, Bern, and/or Lausanne (6 days)→Zermatt (2 days)→Geneva (2 days)→fly out of Geneva
We will be going to about 3 museums in Zurich as well as the Lindt Factory. We also want to do the Grindelward Firsts activities, ride the gondolas, and do a lot of hiking in Berner Oberland area with Interlaken as home base.
