Hello, I will be staying in Gimmelwald from September 22-24. I would really like to be able to do the Schilthorn hike, either up or down. however, I will be travelling with some people who may not want to do that strenuous of a hike. In that case I am considering doing the north face trail. Can anyone tell me how the hikes compare as far as scenery? Would the schilthorn hike have that much better scenery? Also I would really like to get to bryndli still if I don't do the schilthorn hike. Would it be a good idea to do the north face trail and then just head up to bryndli when the trail splits off and then just back track that trail to get back on the north face trail?
