My wife and I will be driving through Bellizona next September and expect to spend a couple hours there to have lunch and look around. If I can visit one of the three castles, which should it be? Also, if Castlegrand is the choice, what about having a casual lunch there?

Just noticed your post and wanted to say that if you haven't already, you might post this question on Fodor's forum. We are taking a day trip to Bellinzona from Lucerne in May and there are several "experts" on their forum who can tell you about the castles. They have been a big help to us!
